"The Pedalmaniacs Project/Web Series"

This is the first chapter of my new Web Series called "The Pedalmaniacs."

Saxophonist Hayes Greenfield, drummer Ignacio Rivas, and I love analog pedals and effects. We got together on a really cold winter afternoon this past January and jammed for a few hours in a New York studio.

As a result, we realized that we wrote a little compositional-free-improvisation ‘book.’ This 'book' has 21 chapters, and you can watch a new chapter every Tuesday, at 11AM, EST.

Here’s the link to the official Pedalmaniacs YouTube Playlist:

Ah…. and thank you sooooo much to Dunlop, Aguilar, Mogami, and Pigtronix for all the pedal and amp support!

————————————

The Pedalmaniacs are three friends who got together to jam at a studio in New York  on a cold winter afternoon. The result is this Web Series. There were no rehearsals, arrangements, overdubs, post-edits or ‘ProTools Magic;’ everything happened right there, at that moment.

Groove, pedals and fun!

3/1/14 - Live at the WhyNot Jazz Room.

Rocking out with my dear friends Leni Stern, Sérgio Galvão, and Alioune Faye in a dark, intimate setting at the WhyNot Jazz Room on Christopher Street in NYC. Nothing like a Saturday night in the West Village doing what I love to do most!

Phantom Fish - Finalist at the 2014 International Songwriting Competition!
Congratulations to saxophone master Sérgio Galvão, a.k.a#MrPhantomFish for being a finalist in the #InternationalSongrwritingCompetition. The title track of his album made it out of the 19,000 submissions! I felt very honored to have been able to produce the tune, help with the arrangement, play bass, and to groove with him and the other wonderful musicians who played on this track: Alex Nolan, Mauricio Zottarelli, Claudio Roditi, and Aruán Ortiz.
